The Dri-Eaz WetChec is the perfect inexpensive hygrometer detector for a quick check of moisture presence in material including carpet, drywall, wood, and upholstery.
Simply uncap the sensor and place the 2 metal pins into the desired testing surface. When moisture levels are above 17% and audible signal will emit from the detector. Common uses include using it to monitor abnormal moisture build up or for monitoring the progress of drying projects.
